South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford told the Aiken Standard editorial board he is conflicted on whether a single management contract is best for the Savannah River site. He noted competition and synergy could favor a split contract, though some argue for protection under a single arrangement. The Westinghouse Savannah River Co. contract renewal is due in 2006.
