Airliner Hijacked to Frankfurt by Uniformed Duo

A Czechoslovak Yak 40 jet carrying 27 occupants was hijacked by a man and a woman in airline uniforms and flown to Frankfurt airport. After two hours the suspects surrendered to police and were taken for questioning. The passengers remained unharmed. Special units surrounded the plane as refueling was demanded for a flight to Munich.

Missing Girls Found Stabbed in Md Creek

The bodies of Theresa Hogan 8 Deborah Anne 10 and Ann Marie Brzeszkiewicz 8 were found in a creek near their Southgate neighborhood after leaving a house to play. They were last seen on a bridge over the stream. The medical examiner said two had about six stab wounds and one more than a dozen. A hunting knife likely used.

The move includes a site shift adjacent to Aiken Community Hospital and requires Cecil's Inc to drop its county nursing home bid after contracting with the Aiken County Council. Three nominees to the South Carolina Health Coordinating Council were named Harris Brown Koch. Aiken County is in an 22 county ECGSA unit but treated as single county for SC matters.
