Former South Carolina rep Corley probation reduced to two years
Robert Kittle of the South Carolina AGs office says Chels Corley’s five year probation for domestic violence was cut to two years after he pleaded guilty to a first degree domestic violence charge. Corley resigned from the Statehouse in January 2017 following a 2016 incident at his Graniteville home.

Aiken settles discrimination suit by former public works director
The City of Aiken and ex public works director Michelle Shepherd Jones reach a settlement in a race gender and religion based discrimination case filed earlier this year. The suit also named City Manager John Knamy and current manager Start Bedenbaugh, with undisclosed terms.
