Also, Joan Hagelston 37 was charged with False Lottery Tickets after attempting to cash a stolen lottery ticket at Kent's Korner. Vivian Riley Butler 37 surrendered to police after a forgery arrest tied to a grand larceny case involving Lumber theft.

Fire destroys Jackson home. volunteers battle blaze
Jackson volunteers fought a hours long fire on Silver Court. Fire Chief Chris Walker said the home was in flames upon arrival as the fire traveled between the ceiling and roof and into the trailer. The homeowner was away. no injuries reported. Cause under investigation with assistance from Beech Island, Silver Bluff, New Ellenton and SAS.
