Members of the First Presbyterian Church will hold regular services Sunday in their new Barnwell Avenue building at 9:15 and 11 a.m. Sunday School remains at the regular hour. Dedicatory services are planned for a date to be announced later. The Kindergarten Department moves into its new quarters next week with other departments already relocated.
The Aiken Great Books Discussion Group enters its eighth year with the 1969 70 session starting Tuesday Oct 14 at 8 p m in the Aiken County Public Library. Mrs Harold Fletcher will lead the first meeting which will discuss Prometheus Bound by Aeschylus. Former members must note new meeting day and location. The Columbia USAR School 3287 offers Basic Officers Advanced Course for qualified officers in the Aiken North Augusta area.
