Aiken Symphony Guild marks 25 years of music outreach
The Aiken Symphony Guild celebrates 25 years since its 1986 charter to bring the SOA to Aiken. The group expanded from one to three annual concerts at USC Aiken and runs outreach programs including the Children’s Concert Series and Music in the Schools. Verbal support from Dr. Margaret Fitch and community leaders helped sustain funding and events such as the Christmas pops and fundraisers. For membership information contact Bob Van Buren at 648-5513 or bobjanvbaol.com.
