Attorney charged with influencing witness against son
Aiken lawyer Sidney Chuck Jones 59 on Connector Road Graniteville is charged with influencing a witness distributing marijuana and delivering marijuana to an inmate at Richmond County jail. Investigators say he gave tobacco and marijuana to a jail inmate to pressure statements against his son Tyler Jones in an April armed Waffle House robbery case in Clearwater. He was arrested Wednesday evening at the jail and is held there.
