Aiken lights up Hopelands for Christmas display
City crews install more than 100000 holiday lights along a 1.5 mile path for the 23rd annual Christmas in Hopelands at Hopelands Gardens 135 Dupree Place. The event runs 6 to 930 p.m. nightly December 12 to 23 and December 26 and 27 with free admission and warm treats. Santa visits on select nights and crafts for kids are available along with open museum sites and local artist exhibits at Rye Patch.
