Faust Resignation Overshadows Notre Dame Miami Clash
Gerry Faust's surprise resignation looms over Notre Dame's season finale against fourth-ranked Miami. The Irish seek a final upset under the beleaguered coach while Miami QB Vinny Testaverde targets a high-scoring performance, with national title talk and Johnson's fuelled defenses in the spotlight. Faust will coach one last game before Lou Holtz takes over.
