Death ruled from head injury in Wagener child case
Deputies moved the body of a child after initial notes suggested natural or accidental death. Autopsy revealed a closed head injury and chronic abuse. The couple, Matthews and Tindal, were arrested during a traffic stop on Cougar Road and are held at the Aiken County detention center as investigators continue.
