Medicare drug plan premiums rise sharply in open enrollment
With open enrollment closing December 7 2015 beneficiaries face higher premiums and deductibles as drug costs soar. Kaiser Family Foundation and Avalere Health projects show average stand-alone Part D premiums rising from 36.68 to 41.46 dollars monthly. Many seniors could save by switching plans.
