An Aiken man, John Maxey, 29, was arrested after a dispute at Morris Pond Road during which a 29 year old wife and possibly a 3 year old child were involved. Maxey faces a pending warrant for second degree domestic violence and is held at the Aiken County detention center.
Aiken County reported numerous incidents Sunday and Saturday including home break ins on Edgefield Highway Elizabeth Avenue Terrace Road and Leitner Street as well as vehicle thefts on Stevie Seymour Street Edisto Road and Morton Avenue. Several arrests included DUI on Pine Log Road and driving without lights on Richland Avenue.
