Sanford hovers over 15 unsigned South Carolina bills
Governor Mark Sanford has not decided the fate of 15 bills left by legislators when they adjourned six months ago. Among the pending measures are proposals on social services abuse reporting, transferring the Aeronautics Commission, hog deterrence, and base closure safeguards. The clock resumes Jan 11 with a Jan 12 deadline to act or they become law.
