Suspects In Aiken Slayings Returned
AA pair of suspects in the Nov. 8 shooting deaths of two Augusta men are now in custody in the Aiken County Detention Center after being returned from Texas authorities said. Kevin Kenyatta Johnson, 23, of Belvedere, and Jennifer Ruth Ladun, 19, of Augusta, were arrested without incident at a Corpus Christi motel. Johnson and Ms. Ladun waived extradition and were returned Wednesday afternoon, according to Lt. Michael Frank of the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office. They are suspects in the murders of Creighton Jackson and Michael Anthony Cooper.
