Teen surrenders in baby's death case in Delaware
A 16 year old college freshman surrendered to face murder charges in the death of his girlfriend's newborn. Brian Peterson Jr accompanied by his parents and lawyer turned himself in to the FBI in Wilmington amid a federal warrant. Amy Grossberg, 18, was arrested and held without bail. Both could face the death penalty if convicted.

Former N E mayor to be released before Thanksgiving
Former New Ellenton mayor Randy Shaw, who served a two year federal sentence for embezzling sewer bond funds, will be released Monday. He will not return to New Ellenton and has been in a Macon halfway house for six months, working at a family business plant.
