UM and M to Expand Clearwater Finishing Plant
UM and M announced a 31.8 million expansion and modernization of the Clearwater Finishing Plant. Phase one, a 10 million upgrade, adds computer controlled textile preparation printing dyeing and finishing machines built mainly by Kuster and Zima with Dutch partners. 90 percent of equipment to be US made. Completion in two years. No plant job losses expected with potential future growth.
