Collectors Seek Post Cards Reflecting Historical Change
Northern California Post Card Club members prize cards that show history over beauty. Janice Viscaino cherishes Redding past with 25 albums, including 1962 Golden Eagle Hotel fire photos. Audra McGrogan recalls early 1900s farmhouses and a 1913 Portland to Hannibal courtship postcard. The hobby flourished as divided back postcards became legal in 1907 and collectors like Randy Taylor hold thousands.
