Gravatt to Build Three Outdoor Learning Centers with Grant
Gravatt Camp and Conference Center will use a 47000 grant from the United Thank Offering to create three outdoor learning spaces for field trips, summer campers, and retreat guests. One is a tree house around a 20 foot tree with composting toilet, another a lake side classroom with labyrinth, and a farm classroom with storage and camping area. AmeriCorps NCCC teams, including 10 members, arrive Nov 13 and stay until Dec 19, aiding construction and other projects after arriving from flood relief in Louisiana.
