The complex on York and Abbeville features 56 single units four double units and shared rooms. Monthly rents start at 287 dollars for a single occupancy and 318 dollars for a double occupancy, meals included for 70 dollars monthly, utilities included. The HUD set rates allow rent supplements for eligible tenants. Units offer kitchen facilities tile baths and emergency calls. leases run one year and furnishings are tenant supplied. The facility welcomes residents regardless of race sex religion or economic status.
President Carter waited for an Egyptian reply to a U S compromise on the Palestinian issue as Sadat warned of a serious crisis and suggested a possible suspension. Mubarak carried Egypt's response to the White House while Israel awaited Cairo's presentation before taking a final position.
