Northside projects eyed in capital tax plan bids
North side funds total about 2.65 million for a former landfill park, 4.5 million for a Eu St is Park Senior Youth Center, about 2 million for a Northside recreational facility, and 0.5 million to buy North side park land. Brookover outlined a 25 000 square foot center with classrooms a gym and kitchen and proposed a 50 plus acre phased Northside park costing near 5 million with fields trails and an amphitheater. Residents indicated willingness to pay about 196 annually for current facilities and 93 more for expanded services as support grew.
