Northside recreation progress advances in Aiken plan
City officials in Aiken pushed forward ideas for Northside recreation centers after more than a decade of talks. Clemson and USC Aiken collaborators gathered input from 16 groups and residents to shape a Northside park and senior youth center with safe inclusive features and accessible biking walking and driving routes. The plan aims to prevent Southside Northside divide and reflect public desires shown at Thursday’s session.
