Trial details emerge in Maple shooting case

Carter testified that Wooden opened fire during an apparent confrontation after a planned night out. Maple was wounded and later died at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Prosecutors and law officers presented dash cam video and described the scene on Dallas Circle in Aiken County.

Tragic double shooting ends in apparent suicides in Aiken County

Authorities say Gerald Wilson, a Midland Valley High junior, and Ronald Wilson died of self inflicted gunshot wounds after a domestic disturbance at a home. Gerald’s girlfriend escaped unharmed. Ronald was detained earlier for criminal domestic violence.
