Veterans Day ceremony honors sacrifices of American veterans

In his fifth year Zack Pace leads Midland Valley High School marching band as the football team advances in the playoffs. The band, which already won the South Carolina Lower State 3-AAA championship, performs tonight at home against Carolina Forest amid the team’s pursuit of a state title. Pace, 29, studied at Furman and USC and plays saxophone and oboe.
