Couple Located In Pond Found Dead In A Mystery Homicide

A couple found in the South Edisto River are identified by authorities as Glenn Boatwright 43 and Dianne Boatwright 48 of Ridge Spring. Autopsies will determine cause as investigators treat incident as homicide. Ronnie Kirk, 37, discovered Mrs Boatwright first at Edisto Boat Ramp noon Thursday. He helped by retrieving a tree trimming tool from his pickup as investigators examine the scene.

Guilty Plea By Man Posing As Psychologist

Elden Gordon Rupp 47 pleaded guilty in U S District Court to mail fraud for posing as a licensed psychotherapist and billing insurers over 80 000. Federal Judge Charles E Simons Jr will sentence after a background check. FBI traced Rupp’s false claims of degrees from Michigan USC and Notre Dame and a home counseling service on Hartwell Drive.
