Ryder shoplifting transcripts reveal prior suspected incidents at Barneys and Neiman Marcus
Beverly Hills actress Winona Ryder faced trial for shoplifting at Saks Fifth Avenue with new court transcripts showing two earlier incidents at Barneys in New York and Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills. Prosecutors sought to admit prior acts testimony, but the judge barred it, noting it could impair her fair trial. Ryder was convicted of felony grand theft and vandalism for more than 5500 dollars of merchandise and faces sentencing on December 6.
