The Aiken County Board of Education will add four new members next week: Donna Moore Wesley Rich ard Hazen Keith Liner and John Bass. Final results show Wesley 2941 in District 8 Hazen 2337 in District 9 Liner 2413 in District 4 and Bass leading District 1 and the multi county seat race with 2405. Provisional votes totaling about 1000 will not alter the outcome.
In unofficial counts for Districts 1 4 8 and 9 candidates including John Bass Keith Liner Donna Moore Wesley Richard Hazen and others trended with varying margins. Bass said he would work to improve student achievement and teachers while contenders expressed readiness to serve and learn the board's processes.
