Clarence Pauldine a 49 year old Hephzibah Georgia man was driving a 1993 Ford van westbound on I-20 at the 18 mile marker Sunday afternoon when the gun went off striking a major artery in his leg The single vehicle crash left him uninjured from the crash but he was rushed to a area hospital for treatment The weapon described as a .38 caliber pistol was on the floorboard during the incident
