Leonard Davis, 48, of 700 block Oriole Street in Aiken is charged with criminal domestic violence high and aggravated resisting arrest and failure to comply. The incident occurred around 5 pm Tuesday after an argument over alleged talking with another person. Davis allegedly struck his wife in the bedroom and kitchen, threatened her with a knife, then entered the residence despite police orders.
Atlantic Broadband, Massachusetts based, buys G Force Cable which had served Aiken since 2003. Sam McGill, general manager, says no immediate service changes but plans expansion, high speed internet, digital cable, and upgrade work at the Aiken facility. Atlantic Broadband operates in Pennsylvania, Florida and Maryland Delaware.
