Brush fire shuts part of I 20 near Aiken County
Fire crews from multiple areas fought a large brush fire along Interstate 20 between exits 11 and 1B near Graniteville causing closures as of 9 30 p m The Aiken County Sheriff's Office reported the fire was 80 percent contained at 7 40 p m Traffic was diverted through North Augusta Clearwater and US 7 with I 20 expected to reopen only when conditions allow and the incident remains active through the night
