Brooks held in jail as Texas detainer filed on Brooks
Brooks was placed in Lexington County jail and brought to Aiken County on May 20. A spokesman said Texas authorities filed a detainer against Brooks, disclosed midweek. Brooks was arrested in July 2013 on securities fraud charges with later indictments. bond was reduced from 500000 to 100000. He can take his family to Texas part of the time.
