Local resident Dimples Weaver Nelson earns GED at adult education commencement
Dimples Denice Weaver Nelson, known for her dimples and bright smile, received her GED at the Aiken County School District adult education ceremony where nearly 120 students earned diplomas or GEDs. Second suspect charged in Christmas Eve Aiken home invasion
Dyquan Kyan Swan, 18, of Jamestown Court in Aiken, was arrested on warrants for attempted murder armed robbery and first degree burglary in the Christmas Eve Mockingbird Lane home invasion. A 20 year old male victim Cody Leonard sustained a gunshot to the face but spoke with officers. Swan remained jailed at the Aiken County detention center.
