Aiken Electric Cooperative Holds 2004 Annual Meeting
More than 3,100 members registered at the 2004 Annual Meeting held May 15. The event featured refreshments from local booster clubs, The Fiddle Man Tim Watson and his Black Creek Band, a ten contestant talent show, and prize drawings including three grand prizes. Incumbents James E. Stewart Jr Henry P. Moseley and Frank Dorn were re elected. Special guests included state and local officials and community leaders. Activities included a petting zoo health fair food drive and community booths.

The Aiken Choral Society presented a May 23 concert at St Mary Help of Christians Church featuring John Rutter Magnificat, Britten A Ceremony of Carols, and Mozart Piccolomini Mass selections. Two more performances are set for May 30 at Piccolo Spoleto in Charleston and June 6 in Aiken at St Paul Lutheran Church.
