Community events highlight Memorial Day observances and activities
Aiken and area groups announce a range of Memorial Day and community events. A Project Graduation party runs Friday night at the H Odell Weeks Center after ceremonies at Aiken and South Aiken High Schools, with tickets 10 to 15 dollars. WW II veterans receive a free breakfast at Golden Corral and a military parade is planned. Other events include a veterans park tribute, block party in Wagener, and a May service at Saluda High School.
