Indictment in shooting death of Florida priest
Steven James Murray, 28, was indicted May 19 in Burke County Georgia on three counts of murder alongside weapons charges for the death of Rev. Rene Robert. The priest, 71, disappeared April 12 after last being seen in St. Augustine, later found in a wooded Burke County area. Autopsy ruled homicide by multiple gunshot wounds. Murray led investigators to the body after arrest in Aiken County. Murray faces further charges in Aiken County for violent felon possession and receiving stolen goods.
