Mrs. Helen Virginia Boatwright Pendel 86 of Aiken died Friday May 21 2010 born Mobile Alabama daughter of the late Benjamin and Ollie Boatwright. She lived in Aiken since 1968 was former head receptionist at the Aiken County Complex attended St Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church member of the VFW and Knights of Columbus and former Democratic Party delegate. She is survived by daughter Sandra Slovensky of Bluffton grandchildren Lynn Wilson Virginia Alarcon Christina Moeller Cynthia Alarcon and Priscilla Alarcon four great grandchildren one great great grandchild and sister Sharon Jager of Bronx NY.
