Aiken Performing Arts Group announces 2007-08 season

The APAG unveils a diverse lineup headlined by Synergy Brass Quintet on Oct. 4 and Dave Bennett’s Tribute to Benny Goodman on March 27 2008. Other acts include Paul Taylor 2 Dance Company and Barrage with six fiddlers. Season tickets are $150 with renewals prioritized. Individual seats go on sale Sept. 4. call 642-3189 for details.

Aiken Choral Society Spring Concert and Blue Moon Walk

The Aiken Choral Society pipes up with a Spring Concert on May 29 and 31 at 8 p.m. in The Aiken County Historical Museum ballroom, with pre concert notes at 7:30 in the parlor. Proceeds fund the society. tickets are $10 at the door. Also May 31, Phinizy Swamp Nature Park hosts a Blue Moon Walk from 9 to 11 p.m. costing $5 for academy members and $8 for nonmembers, registration due by May 29.
