Lexington Woman Dies In Interstate Crash Near Bush Field
A single vehicle crash on Interstate 20 near mile marker 35 early Wednesday killed Anna Vega, a Lexington resident and Delta Air Lines employee, as she headed toward Bush Field in Augusta. The 2006 Pontiac Solstice left the road, struck a median tree, and Vega, alone and wearing a seat belt, died at the scene. Toxicology results are pending. alcohol and drugs are not considered factors. The incident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and Aiken County Coroner's Office.
