Judge Approves New Bridge to Sandy Island

Circuit Judge David Maring ruled the 1983 permit for a two lane bridge to Sandy Island may proceed, with safeguards for endangered species and historic sites. Residents warn future permitting lies with the Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management, while Island residents debate who should use the bridge.
