Developers to Present Requests in Marathon Aiken Meeting

Twelve developers are set to present as the Aiken County Planning Commission holds an eight o’clock meeting at the County Council chambers 736 Richland Avenue. Seven preliminary plat requests include Scarboro Estates II and III Schultz Hill North Aiken Farms Dry Branch Park Rob wood Estates and Barcley Park. Four final plat proposals are Atkinson Estates Ashley Place Foxchase Phase VI and Gem Lakes Estates. Lou Durden plot recording approval will be requested.

Jury Deliberations Continue in GM Rear Axle Suit

The GM trial focuses on whether a defective rear axle in a 1976 Pontiac Firebird caused a wreck that left 33 year old Carlene Proctor of Aiken County paralyzed.
