Random killing at Parkland Lutheran campus leaves two dead
Tacoma area authorities say 55 year old Donald Cowan shot and killed James D Holloway on the Pacific Lutheran University campus before turning the 9mm pistol on himself. A 16 page handwritten note described the motive as random. Police found a second handgun and magazines at the scene. The female employee involved had prior restraining orders against the shooter.
