Two now vie for Idol title as Doolittle exits
Melinda Doolittle, once seen as a near lock for the American Idol finale, was eliminated on Wednesday night. The result paves the way for a final between Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis, with Simon Cowell praising Doolittle’s vocal talents even as he expressed consolation.
