Concert to honor Strom Thurmond at Hopelands Gardens
A patriotic concert at Hopelands Gardens will honor late Sen. Strom Thurmond with performances of Strom Thurmond March and South Carolina both by John Seaton and led by Sha Ane Seaton. The plan, begun in 2006 by Cecil Atchley, aims to launch a state wide series of tribute concerts. The free event will feature various spirituals and Broadway pieces, with public parking at Green Boundary Club and rain fallback at Millbrook Baptist Church.
