Seventeen candidates have applied for the position of superintendent of the Aiken County Public School District. Representatives from Student Centered Education Consulting Group LLC delivered a sealed box with applications to William Burkhalter, the district’s attorney, on May 12. The box will stay unopened in the district vault until requested.
