Drug buys in crack house test police search effort

Gas leak from collision closes portion of US Highway 1
A Monday crash on US Highway 1 in South Carolina between a 1973 Ford pickup and a Heilig Meyers 18 wheeler punctured a gas line after a power crew drilled into it. Traffic was rerouted to SC 421 for over an hour with only the northbound lane open. The truck driver was charged with disregarding a traffic light and the pickup driver suffered minor injuries.
