Bath Fire Department to relocate to former Bath Elementary site
The Bath Fire Department will move to a four acre plot from the former Bath Elementary School site. Chief David Cunningham praises the school board for donating land. The building will include four pull through bays, meeting rooms, showers, sleeping area and a water bill office. Volunteers hope to secure a loan by June for construction, citing the current location’s outgrown status and tight maneuvering in a residential area. The department, rated four by a national organization, has 41 volunteers including 30 firefighters, five cadets and six first responders.

Snell designs hand crafted porcelain jewelry since 1989, with each piece undergoing four to five firings and 16 handling steps over one to two weeks.
