Wonderful Williston Weekend Arrives May 24 26
Williston hosts a three day event with carnival openings at Kent's Corner and Main Street concessions. Night Owls perform a country and western street dance, DJ Lappy Berry also on stage, free admission. Saturday features a bake-off a fun walk and Citizenship Award 1990 ceremony, parade, then flower show and arts. O Kaysions close with a Main Street street dance at 8 pm.

Karate classes at Gregg Park start Tuesday at 7 15 p m with Brian Randall as instructor at 15 dollars a month. Women’s low impact exerobics meet Tuesdays and Thursdays 6 to 7 p m led by Mimi Walton with eight week session prices 10 dollars for passholders 15 dollars for non passholders. Co ed exerobics runs Mondays and Wednesdays 6 to 7 30 p m with Mimi Walton teaching old and new music at 10 dollars per eight week session for passholders.

The Aiken County Recreation Center on U S 1 in Graniteville now offers an After School Program for elementary and middle school children. Weekdays 3 to 6 pm, $10 weekly with a snack, limited bus pickup, registration at 663-6142 or in person. Also clogging, boxing, tennis and basketball facilities available with scheduled classes and supervision.
