Aiken Recreation Calendar Covers Various Summer Programs
Aiken Parks and Recreation announces many programs. Tiny Tots Tennis begins May 26 at 10 am for ages 4 to 7 with eight weekly sessions costing 35 dollars. Hopeland Gardens hosts senior readers and summer concerts start May 21 with the DuBose Robertson Vocal Ensemble, rain dates to South Aiken High School. A summer day camp runs June 4 28 for ages 5 8 and July 9 August 3 for ages 9 12, 9 am to 2 pm, 50 dollars per child. Scuba class begins May 31 at 7 pm four weeks 135 dollars with gear provided by students. Various classes at Smith Hazel and North Augusta centers range from home builders prep to yoga and karate with schedules through June.
