Prom dress stitched from Korean fabric winds through family memories
In 1951 Navy veteran Victor Waring brought Korean fabric home for his family. His granddaughter Annelise wore a prom gown created by her mother Michelle from the fabric and Indian sari remnants, after years of crafting dresses for family events. The project took about 80 hours and connected three generations of makers.
