In Gaffney a 3-year-old girl Alyssa Jade Mayfield died when a folded portable stage toppled onto her at West End Baptist Church daycare. Authorities said she was in the gym around 3:20 p.m. Wednesday, CPR was given, she was flown to Spartanburg hospital and pronounced dead about an hour later.
