Dotson Out and Seeks to Clear Name After Commutation
Gary Dotson, freed by Gov. James R. Thompson who kept him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, vows to clear his name of a rape charge the alleged victim now says never occurred. Dotson, 28, has been free on bond since May 1 while appealing his 1979 conviction.
